VIEW DOCUMENTS UPDATE FOR INTERNET EXPLORER AND FIREFOXWe are pleased to announce that the View Documents button has been updated to work with the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox. This includes the versions of IE on Windows 7 as well as Firefox on both Windows and Mac. In addition, you no longer need to install an ActiveX Control in order to view documents. Please note, for Mac users, this functionality will only work on Firefox, and should work in the same way as in Windows. However, there is a slight bug in the way Firefox handles PDF's (this is an issue for users viewing documentation submitted to Purchasing). In order to view PDF's, please install the free plugin listed above, 'PDF Browser Plugin.' You will also need to make sure that any other PDF Plugin is disabled, including the Adobe PDF Plugin as this causes an error. Your IT support should be able to assist in this installation. |
