Interactive Purchasing Guide

The Interactive Purchasing Guide is a resource helping University users to obtain goods and services at Columbia simpler.

This tool accomplishes this in two ways:

1. The Interactive Purchasing Guide helps identify University-wide Purchasing Agreement (UwPA's) vendors that best match the products and/or services needed. These agreements reflect negotiated pricing with value-added features from reputable vendors. Using these vendors will help facilitate your purchasing process more promptly and increase the University's buying power.
2. This guide will also help identify the most efficient University procurement mechanism to obtain these product(s) and/or service(s). This can be accomplished through one of the following mechanisms:
   • EZ-PO
   • P-Card
   • Central Purchase Order
   • Voucher

Based on your responses to the prompts, the Interactive Purchasing Guide will provide the easiest method to purchase what you need.

If you have additional questions about a purchase, process or supplier, the guide will also provide the contact information of the Purchasing representative responsible for that commodity.
