Procurement Overview

It is important that all involved in the "Req to Check" process have a common understanding of the sound business principles and compliance obligations that apply at the University, and the resources available to make it easier to get the best value.

For these reasons, everyone who plays a role in buying or paying for goods and services should be trained to purchase at the University before gaining access to the necessary systems.

The Procurement Training involves taking a short online course, about procurement policies and procedures. Training will be mandatory for all new applicants to FFE and AP/CAR users.

For those who would like to review the training slide presentation outside of CourseWorks, you can download the Procurement Training presenation here.

To access the Procurement Training course, you must log into CourseWorks, with a valid UNI and password. After reviewing the slide presentation, all users must complete a survey of 10 questions, reinforcing the course material. Only after submitting the survey will users be given access to these systems.

Please keep in mind:

  • Your Procurement Training is complete once the survey of questions has been submitted. You must submit all questions in the survey.
  • Once you have fully completed the Procurement Training, it will take one night before your access is granted to either FFE and/or APCAR. So for example, if you complete the training at 2p.m., your access to these systems will begin the next morning.

For questions or problems with the Procurement Training, please contact Terry Park (FFE) or Anthony Cerbins (APCAR)

When you're ready, begin the training.
